The fundamental language of my work is repetition.
As color and form are laid over one another again and again, they yield and negotiate, growing more solid and resilient—and in that gradual unfolding, my mind also finds its way toward calm.
With each brushstroke, a new grain emerges, and as these grains accumulate layer by layer, the inner thought I had long kept hidden finally rises to the surface.
나의 작업의 근본적 언어는 반복이다.
색과 형태는 반복적으로 겹쳐지는 과정 속에서 서로에게 양보하고 타협하며 더욱 견고해지고, 그와 동시에 내 마음 또한 서서히 평온을 찾아간다.
한 번의 붓질마다 새로운 결이 생겨나고, 그 결이 층층이 쌓이며 한켠에 깊이 숨겨두었던 나의 속내가 마침내 모습을 드러낸다.
