An artist's day follows a set rhythm, and that routine is the most comfortable part of their life.
Through the "window of the mind". the artist fills the canvas with carefully filtered, orderly lines and clean colors-realistic yet geometric in expression.
The vivid colors of family trips, repeated objects, and shapes that seem to stand in line together gain structure through the lens of the artist's eye. Flowers in neighborhood alleys and potted plants on balconies appear, and scenes experienced in brunch cafes or bookstores are depicted in bright, clear colors. Occasionally, friends who shared those moments are drawn radiantly.
It can be a joy to quietly experience the journey of where the artist's eye and mind wander, and how the places they visited are expressed on canvas.
작가의 하루는 정해진 규칙대로 이어지며, 그것이 가장 편한 일상이다.
작가는 '마음의 창'을 통해 필터링된 잘 정돈된 선과 깔끔한 채색, 사실적이지만 기하학적인 표현들로 캔버스를 채워 나간다.
가족 여행 갔던 곳의 선명한 색채, 반복된 사물들, 함께 줄 서 있는 듯한 도형들은 작가의 눈이라는 창을 거쳐 질서를 갖게 된다. 동네 골목의 꽃들과 집 베란다의 화초들이 등장하고 브런치 카페나 책방에서 느낀 풍경이 선명한 색으로 그려진다. 때론 함께했던 친구들이 환하게 그려지곤 한다.
작가의 눈과 마음이 어디로 향하고 있는지, 그 향했던 곳은 어떻게 표현되었는지 담담하고 솔직한 여정을 함께 느껴보는 일도 즐거운 일일 듯하다.
